Stuttering / Jerky movement

The belt feels “jerky” or the speed isn’t smooth

What you’re noticing: The treadmill feels like it “stutters” or runs unevenly.

Try this:

1) If the incline support is raised to the highest position:
At very low speed (slow walking), a slight stuttering sensation can be normal. (If your model does not have an incline support, please ignore this.)

2) If the incline support is NOT raised and the belt stutters under load (or won’t move):
Check these in order:

2.1 Too much load: The user weight may exceed the treadmill’s maximum load. Standard treadmills are typically rated around ~220 lb + ~22 lb (approx. ~243 lb) depending on the model.

2.2 Belt tension: If the running belt is loose, it can slip. Follow the user manual/video to tighten it properly.

2.3 Too much lubricant: Excess lubricant under the belt can cause stuttering (especially if lubricant was just added).

  • With the treadmill powered off / in standby, lift the belt from the side and use a lint-free cloth to wipe excess lubricant from the running board and/or the underside of the belt.

2.4 Low household voltage: During peak electricity usage, voltage can drop and the motor may feel weak. Try the treadmill at a different time of day and see if it improves.

If you’ve tried everything above and the stuttering is still obvious (or the belt still won’t move), the motor may be faulty. Motor replacement isn’t a DIY repair—please contact support for the right next step (return/exchange service).

Running belt

The running belt is slipping

Try this:

If you just added lubricant:
Stop adding lubricant. Use a lint-free cloth to absorb some excess lubricant from both sides/edges of the belt, then test again.

If you did NOT add lubricant:
Follow the user manual to tighten the running belt appropriately.

The belt drifts to the left/right

It depends:

If the belt is centered with no one on it, but shifts when you walk/run:
This is usually not a treadmill defect. Please check:

  • Whether the treadmill is level on the floor
  • Your walking/running posture (consistent stepping)

If the belt is off-center even with no load:
Please refer to the belt alignment adjustment video and adjust until the belt runs centered.

Power & electrical

The treadmill won’t turn on / won’t start

Check in this order:

1) Safety key
Make sure the safety key is seated in the correct spot.

2) Power switch indicator light
See if the power switch indicator is on.

If the indicator is OFF:

2.1 Power cord: Check for damage. If possible, test with another same-type power cord to rule out a cable issue.

2.2 Power switch: Make sure the switch is set to “I” (ON). If the indicator still doesn’t light up, the switch may need replacement.

If the indicator is ON:

2.3 Controller status light: Open the unit and check whether the lower controller indicator is on.

  • If it’s OFF: the cable from the switch to the lower controller may be loose/faulty. Re-seat the connector. If it still fails, the lower controller may need replacement.
  • If it’s ON: the communication line between the lower controller and the console/main board may be faulty. First ensure the connectors are fully inserted. If all connectors are secure, the console/main board may need replacement.

If none of the checks above help, please contact support for return/exchange service.

Noise

The treadmill is noisy while running

A quick guide:

Normal operating sound
A steady, even sound from the motor/rollers/moving parts is normal.

“Clicking” sound (first use or after storage)
This can happen after unboxing or long periods of non-use because the belt stiffens. Let the treadmill run with no one on it for up to 1 hour. The sound should fade out over time.

If the noise sounds clearly abnormal:

Check stability & assembly: All foot pads should touch the ground. Make sure the mid support pads under the deck contact the floor, and the uprights/quick-release structures are firmly locked.

Check for debris: With the treadmill powered off, look around the belt and under the motor cover for anything rubbing or getting in the way.

Still happening? Please record a short video of where the sound is coming from and contact support.

Unusual noise from the motor area

Check these:

  • Remove the motor cover and make sure the belt isn’t rubbing the upper/lower motor cover.
  • Check whether the motor is rubbing the lower cover. If so, add spacers/washers after confirming no debris is causing friction.
  • Make sure wires aren’t touching the fan, and nothing inside the motor cover is contacting the flywheel/pulley/belt.

If the noise is coming from the motor itself, the motor may be damaged. Please contact support for return/exchange service.

Overheating & odor

The treadmill feels hot

Try this:

  • If you have a thermometer/temperature gun, measure the temperature. Up to 158°F during operation is generally considered normal.
  • Figure out where the heat is coming from: usually the running belt/deck or the motor area.
  • Make sure the motor bottom ventilation holes aren’t blocked. If you’re on carpet, raising the incline support (if applicable) can help airflow.
  • Also check the motor top cover temperature. If it’s extremely hot to the touch, the motor may be abnormal—please contact support.
There’s a strange smell while running

Try this:

  • Make sure there’s enough space around the treadmill for ventilation—especially the motor bottom ventilation holes.
  • Check if the running belt is rubbing against other parts (side rails, rear cover, motor covers). If it is, adjust the belt until it runs without contact.
  • If it smells like burning from the front motor area and the motor cover is very hot, the motor may be faulty—please contact support for return/exchange service.

Error Codes (What They Mean & How to Fix)

E01 — loose connection (common after shipping)

What it usually means: E01 is a wiring/connection issue, often caused by vibration during shipping.

How to fix it:

  • Open the control panel.
  • Look for any connectors that are loose.
  • Push them back in firmly and tighten if needed.
  • Restart the treadmill and see if the code clears.

If it won’t clear, please contact customer support.

E07 — safety key issue

What it usually means: E07 relates to the safety key—typically the treadmill isn’t sensing it correctly.

How to fix it:

  • Confirm the red safety clip/cord is attached correctly, then power on again.
  • If it’s attached correctly, try using another magnet at home and place it on the treadmill’s designated sensor area (the yellow-marked area) to see if the error disappears.
  • Follow the E07 troubleshooting video guide (external link) for step-by-step help: Insert link

Still seeing E07? Contact support to request a replacement safety key (if applicable).

E05 — motor/control communication issue

What it usually means: E05 indicates a motor fault or abnormal communication between the motor and control board.

How to fix it:

1) Restart the treadmill
Turn the power off completely. When restarting, do not stand on the belt, and check if it returns to normal.

2) Check the running belt
With power off, push the belt forward by hand. It should move smoothly without jamming.
If it’s stuck, check the rear guard for foreign objects and remove any blockage.

3) Check the motor area
Open the motor cover and remove any debris or obstructions.

If the treadmill and motor look normal but E05 remains, it’s likely a controller/control board issue—please contact support to request replacement parts. If none of the above resolves it, support will recommend the best after-sales solution (repair/return/exchange depending on the case).
